Let's get nomenclature out of the way. "ts"imbl, like tsuris or tsadik. It's the trapezoidal string instrument to the left, NOT the round brass one to the right.

This is an instrument related to the Hungarian cimbalom and the American hammer dulcimer. A trapezoidal box strung with many many strings, which are struck by wooden hammers wrapped in wool or cotton.
