Cape Breton Piano: Amanda MacDougall
Amanda MacDougall, from Judique, Cape Breton, is a student in the
Music Program at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS.
She started taking music lessons at age ten and studied under
John Morris Rankin. Amanda has taught privately and has performed with
many of Cape Breton's notable fiddlers including Ashley MacIsaac,
Natalie MacMaster and Rodney MacDonald.
In 1999 she will be teaching at
The Gaelic College of Celtic Arts & Crafts in St Ann's.
